The city is very small but has an impressive castle nested in the nearby hill A good starting point could be walking this hill up as parking facilities closer to the castle entrance could get jammed. The historic city centre has one or two nice "cervezarias" where you could mingle with local people and have a beer with bocadillos. The place is very well kept and clean, the same as the water in the pools. The Finca is just a perfect place to relax and only 2 hours from the Madrid Barajas airport. The design of apartments is stunning. If you add the surrounding bodegas of the Ribera del Duero, the Peñafiel castle and Plaza del Coso, you can have a great time there. It felt safe and secure. There are many extra features and property is new and very clean located in the center of peñafiel.
