The size and cleanliness of the room. There was free parking. Location fantastic, a short walk to the harbour, shops and restaurants. The staff were so friendly and helpful especially Marion and Anna. The restaurant is special and the food was very well prepared . Highly recommend this hotel.

We stayed here in April with friends while walking the Camino del Norte. The rooms are new (or newly refinished), clean, and nicely furnished. The owner is very hospitable and helpful. We ate a simple, tasty dinner and good breakfast as well at Rincon de Yaxu. Highly recommend!

Came here with low expectations as we were travelling on a tight budget, but it quickly became my favourite hotel ever. The owner is incredibly friendly, the rooms are decorated quirky and personally, and not to mention the view!!!! Every morning we sat at the foot of the mountains as the owner cooked us HUGE and absolutely delicious breakfasts tailored to our preferences and needs (including vegetarian meals which is quite difficult in Spain!). The meals were big enough to fill us up for the whole day and included a small buffet including coffee, muffins, yogurts etc. The whole thing only cost €10. Unfortunately my partner was ill with sunstroke for the last couple of days of our holiday but the owner was so helpful in providing us rehydration drinks and medicine to help with the sickness, even when I messaged him late at night. I will definitely be coming back and I cannot wait until my next visit.

We stopped for a one night on our way to Leon – it turned out we ended up in a small, cozy hotel on the edge of the village. Just a few rooms, small reception, direct contact with the owners and nice small lobby at the ground flore make a good mood inside. The room we were given was well-appointed, with carefully selected furniture and it was very clean, equipped with comfortable beds. The sound of cow bells was grazing outside – the hotel is truly located on the edge of the village. Free parking was available on-site.

We enjoyed the hospitality, a beautiful and clean room with balcony. A very good breakfast and a perfect host. The hotel is a perfect starting point for walks on the coastal paths and the spectacular Picos De Europa.
