It’s a total value for money! The separate balcony with an amazing view, big bathroom and cozy bed with 2 heaters just made my day! I didn’t expect all this at such a low price! The host is also very sweet. Actually I had no plans to stay at Ourense but had no trains available so I had to, I was totally exhausted but as soon as I entered the room, my mood was elevated. The view from the balcony got me interested to explore the city & I found it’s amazing river Minho, the park, geothermal hot springs and the history of this city! It’s a very good place to stay. 🩷 TV, wifi, heaters, everything is good!

This beautifully renovated pazo offers a truly authentic Galician experience, capturing the essence of “enxebre.” With just a handful of rooms, it guarantees intimacy, tranquility, and a sense of privacy in the shared spaces. The rooms showcase stunning views of the Sil River, where mist often lifts from the waters as scull boats glide silently by. From our window, we also admired an oak-covered hill and a wetland teeming with nesting ducks. Breakfast, served at the table in a grand refectory, was excellent; unlimited portions and a thoughtful menu catering to all tastes, from savory to vegan. Evenings can be spent by the fire in the cozy lounge, enjoying light dinners made with local delicacies and wines from the estate’s own vineyards. A perfect blend of nature, heritage, and exceptional hospitality.

Our stay at Piso Estación Termal II was absolutely perfect! The apartment was spotless, beautifully remodeled, and equipped with everything we needed to feel right at home. From the moment we arrived, we were struck by the care and attention to detail that went into making this a truly comfortable and welcoming space. The location is also fantastic! The Termas da Chavasqueira are just a 7-minute walk away, and the scenic riverside promenade along the Miño is an absolute must. Strolling along the river is a beautiful experience, and it’s a great way to discover other thermal baths in the area. For those traveling by bus or train, the apartment is incredibly convenient—just two blocks from the station. Esther, the host, went above and beyond to make our experience exceptional. She was incredibly kind and helpful, starting with her prompt communication when we booked, to her warm welcome upon arrival. Her local tips and recommendations were invaluable and made our stay even more enjoyable. What truly stood out was Esther's honesty and thoughtfulness. After our departure, she contacted us to let us know we had forgotten a significant amount of money. Thanks to her quick action, we were able to return and recover it. Such integrity and generosity are rare and deeply appreciated. We can't recommend Piso Estación Termal II highly enough! It’s a place where you’ll feel cared for, relaxed, and completely at ease. Everything is great, the owner is a very nice man who came early to help us leave the bags. Really close to the train station, but the windows face a courtyard, so no noise. The terrace is nice and big.
