Beautiful building. Our room had a lovely good size patio to relax on overlooking the garden. A real joy. The staff were excellent. We only had dinner in the bar, but couldn’t fault it.

À real warm welcome in this lovely spanish hôtel ! When the hôtel wants to know the hour of arrival it is to warm up the room, shut the blinders, put on small light and tv… incredible these days… such a warm welcome! The hotel is superbly renovated with an absolute charm, parking on the street is free. Absolutely spotless, so many details making you feel well.. amenities, slippers. Twin room was very comfortable, spacious. Good continental breakfast with very good coffee. We have absolutely loved to be here and thanks so much that this kind of hotel still exists

• Parking: We travelled by car and the property was easy to find via GPS coordinates. Free parking was available in the basement carpark and the hostess gave us the key fob to access it and showed us where to park the car. • Keys: The property is located on a narrow one-way street on a hill, so initially we parked the car some distance away and walked to the property and phoned to let them know we had arrived. The hostess was a kind lady who responded within a minutes and gave us the keys and showed us around the property. • First impression: The apartment is on the ground floor with easy access to the main door of the building. It was very well furnished. There was a spacious living room with a big screen TV. There was also a study room. • Kitchen & Bathroom: The kitchen was well furnished to a high standard, with a microwave, fridge, cooking utensils and cutleries, etc. • Bedroom: There were two bedrooms, one with a double bed, and the other with two single beds. There was a generous supply of blanket in the cupboards, and the heating was turned on to keep the apartment warm and comfortable. • Amenities: There was no wifi at the property, but other than that the whole apartment was furnished to a high standard with good flooring and furnishing. • Conclusion: We just needed a comfortable accommodation for the night for a family of four, and this property met all our expectations, and we would be happy to stay there on our next visit.

The host is incredible! Very friendly and hardworking. Serving drinks, cooking excellent meals in his lovely restaurant (worth a detour!!) and making us breakfast! Does he ever sleep?

Simply amazing: a 1-star hotel with rooms that could easily belong to a 3-star. Spotless clean, huge and comfy bed, loads of towels, aircon, heater and huge window. A must-stay if you want to take a break between the North and Madrid.

A great place. Clean and spacious room. Attractive staff. Lots of good food. Just off of the Via de la Plata but very much worth the detour. I would definitely return.
