Mengibar offers little in terms of bars or restaurants, with the exception of local cafes, there wasn't anywhere to get a good quality meal in an attractive setting. Unfortunately, Mengibar isn't a particularly attractive town with no points of interest.

Not much to see or do in the town but it is quite Small and...
Not much to see or do in the town but it is quite Small and conveniently located close to several other places of interest eg: Jaen, Baeza, Úbeda.
The prettiest place in Mengibar is the main town square where this beautiful hotel was located. Also s good stop over place between Malaga/Granada and Madrid. Y
The hotel has a good restaurant serving mostly local and Spanish dishes.

It's a beautiful hotel which has an old world charm yet has thoroughly modern facilities. The courtyard areas are peaceful shaded havens which I appreciated and the room was clean and comfortable. All the staff were polite and attentive.
I would definitely return if the opportunity occurs.

Lovely hotel in a beautiful building. The rooms were very spacious and comfortable. The restaurant served excellent food at very reasonable prices. It had on-site parking for free outside, and paid parking under cover. Nearby you can do a tour of an Olive Oil factory which was interesting.
