This was our second visit which speaks for itself.
This was our second visit which speaks for itself. Mazagon is beautifully clean, the locals are all very friendly although not much English is spoken. There are a couple of small bars each serving small plates. A general store sells basics and there is a fishmonger and a baker. Beaches excellent, super things to visit - El Rocio, Moguer, La Rabida, Dunas de Odiel. Weather lovely in mid September. Main downside was atrociously overpriced food in restaurants. Kitchen had all the amenities we needed. The huge plus is the proximity to a beautiful Mazagon beach. Its litterally right at the house. We enjoyed also car trips to locations close by - Palos de la Frontera, Huelva, Sevilla and Portugal. Excellent place to stay for family with kids. The owner greeted us with a big beaming smile,and although she did not speak English, we got around that by using Google translate. If we had had any problems, her son could have translated for us. And very comfortable mattress! Dog friendly. We even got a garage place to park our car.
