The whole place was absolutely spotless. We loved the quiet location - listening to the birdsong in the evening and morning was stunning. We hadn’t booked food but as there isn’t anywhere close by we asked to book when we arrived. Menu was short but delicious and we were only sorry we didn’t have room for the home made dessert. Hosts were fabulous, nothing was too much trouble.

Supermarket close by the bus station which was a few minutes from the hotel. Family run. Walking distance to beach and port. Excellent Camino stop.

Andrea messaged a couple of days in advance to arrange meeting when we arrived in Luarca. When we arrived she was available soon to meet me and hand over the keys. She was very friendly and helpful. The apartment was very nice and clean and well appointed, I would happily have stayed here for a while. We were travelling by bicycle and could store our bikes indoors. Luarca is a lovely town with nice restaurants and cafes, and all is easily accessible from the apartment location.

Immaculately clean, bright and spacious. Great communication with host for key collection and also bag transfer (we were doing Camino). The location is absolutely perfect, right in heart of town and minutes from all restaurants and marina. Be excellent place to spend two nights for a recovery day, and we regret not doing this. The best place we have stayed on Camino so far, by some distance.

Luarca is very beautiful , you fell the force of the Bizkaya in the entire city. It is not touristic at all, you rarely hear other languages than Spanish. The restaurants offer the most delicious and fresh seafood , the large variety of Bizkaya and Atlantic fish and regional food. You can have a walk on the 3 moles or climb up to one of the seaside hills. You should not be afraid of rain and a part of the buildings is empty and not well-kept, so there is some lost places charme.

Very nice harbour.

Very nice harbour. Very good beach which unfortunately was not cleaned. Restaurants sufficient choice. Restaurant Miramar was our favourite. But we have to add that we were there only 3 nights, so no chance to compare much. Quite enough space to walk and see different things. The parking was very reasonable in the time we were there. We parked at the public carparks near the beach.

Usually stay in a different hotel in Luarca but wanted to try Hotel Rico as reviews are very good and I was not disappointed,very swift check in and given a lovely room with beautiful shower as well.Its in the best position in town and has a lovely bar on the ground floor and the tapas are excellent.Will certainly be returning.

Very clean and comfortable studio with fully equipped kitchen including Nespresso vertuo coffee machine for which the host kindly provided coffee cups. Right in the city center of Luarca. Great value for money.
