It wasn't easy to find but that was probably my own fault, as I mis-entered the details in Maps. There isn't any internet and very little phone signal which was both refreshing but slightly frustrating at times

The entire apartment was spotless, kitchen was really well equipped, didn’t need to use it, bathroom was exceptional, apart from a small leak from the bottom of the shower door. Was a bit strange at first, wasn’t sure how sharing the apartment with the owner still there, however we never really saw him as he seemed quite happy to leave you alone to use the place as your own, perhaps next time we’ll sit down with him and have a drink and a conversation or something together so he doesn’t feel he has to stay in his room quite so much.

The staff were incredibly friendly. The hotel was nice and the rooms were clean. The cafeteria did nice meals at an affordable cost and breakfast was buffet style and had fresh breads, fruits and coffee.

The area was peaceful, large walled garden suitable for our dogs, also outside of the property there were peaceful paths to walk around. The hosts were nice persons, and the room was clean, small, but adequate with almost all necessary facilities. However during colder winter months the heating was just not adequate. The stone walls do not get warm in an instant, the hosts switched off the bedroom heating remotely (although they stopped doing that after my complaint), and the living room cheap supermarket heater was not enough to keep the room warm, and in addition it had a 1 hour timer which switched the heating off. We planned and paid for 3 nights, but we had to leave after the first night. The hosts did not refund, but instead did not charge for the breakfast (which was excellent) or the dog extra fee. This could have been a very nice stay.
