Very high standard of renovation of an historic building. The concept of share living spaces is fairly unique but seems to work well. The kitchen facilities were excellent and the common room / work room well thought out.

The city consists of three parts. The historic part with beautiful and charming streets. The villa part with beautiful gardens, trees, houses, and the part where people live tightly and where the most is happening. Lots of street culture, lots of cultural attractions. Lots of opportunities for good food.

I stayed in Laguna duriing the Santa Cruz carnival and found buses ran between towns all night. Lovely university town with wonderful buildings and streets and a real cafe culture . A small town market next to one of the beautiful churches is worth checking out.

San Cristobal de la Laguna is a beautiful city full of...

San Cristobal de la Laguna is a beautiful city full of history and with a great vibe. You can walk around town easily and safely. From there you can drive to mount Teide through the road La Esperanza (means hope) which provide gorgeous views of the seaside and of mount Teide. It is also a short drive away from historical towns.

A highlight of our visit was attending a performance at the Leal theatre We loved meals at the Pizzeria La Veneziana. Plaques in front of historical buildings made it possible to do a self guided city tour. The collections at the Museo Cayetano Gomez Felipe are stellar and aesthetically presented!

The town is centrally located for those who want to explore Anaga National Park. The distance to get there is only 40 minutes. The town itself, you will get everything that you want. There are places where you can find restaurants, souvenirs, hotels, and so on.

This was a wonderful place to stay.

This was a wonderful place to stay. The room was clean and very functional. Having the area downstairs for meals was very nice. The owner/caretaker was quite lovely and very accommodating. The location was off the main area by a little bit, which we appreciated. We didn't want to be in a heavily populated area and enjoyed the peace and quiet. It was nice to go on the back deck and watch the sunrise, sunset, and night stars. The security gate around the property was comforting. The parking was acceptable and became a game for us to get our car parked, then back on the driveway in one turn. Being in the more northern part of Tenerife, it was a drive to go to the south end of the island. One morning we got caught in the traffic and almost missed our planned event. But, having said that, it was totally worth the homeyness and price. We will definitely use this place again!

The vibe of the hostel is super friendly and homely. The patio is an amazing place to hang out, play games, etc. The room, bathrooms, and kitchen were clean — a bit outdated, but that’s really not a big deal since everything worked perfectly. You get a power outlet and a small light by your bed. Breakfast had pretty much everything you could think of. The staff are super friendly and helpful, always ready with tips on hikes and getting around La Laguna. It’s also a great base if you want to hike around Anaga! 🌿

What a little gem....a brilliant hotel in the heart of La Laguna and it's wonderful historic centre. The room was large, clean, and really comfortable. The food in the restaurant was excellent and a 3 course meal with bread, water and coffee was €19 a head. The hotel has a wonderful roof terrace that hosts a well equipped gym and a marvellous out door pool. The staff were brilliant - friendly and helpful.

The location is perfect at the lovely historic centre of La Laguna. We used the parking lot nearby (Las Quinteras). It is a max of €7.5 per day. This saved us the trouble of looking for parking. The house is absolutely gorgeous! High silings, wooden floors, beautiful details. Very spacious apartment. But...

Lovely place with an amazing host. It's located at the center of San Cristobal de Laguna and therefore the perfect place to discover the small little town as well as the northern part of the island. The building has been carefully renovated. The kitchen is huge and offers everything a traveller needs to.
