We had a problem with our flight and was unable to stay at casa Mistela, but John and sonja were absolutely fantastic with our situation and couldn't do either to help. Will definitely return in the future.

Just wow !!. Absolutely amazing stay in this beautiful hotel in a beautiful location. But the real icing on the cake was the owners , so friendly and happy they really couldn't do enough for us . What an amazing energy. The food was fantastic, all locally sourced & cooked to order....... best octopus i've ever had & the local wine was a hit. Breakfast sitting in the olive grove was special. Rooms are clean & fresh & they have the best shampoo & shower gel..........smelt amazing. Definitely coming back, Thank you Ann, Javier & David, you have a little gem in the mountains xxx

There are places that escape the possibilities we have to describe them. Ad Hoc was one of those places - it's one of the most beautiful, relaxing, and realized places I have visited. It is exactly what it wants to be, and sticks to its guns. It's hard not to relax there - tucked away in the corner of a sleepy town of Beniarbeig, washed away by the greenery of trees, with surrounding mountains peeking here and there, it's a very definition of zen. If that wasn't enough, the service was absolutely excellent - and you must try the restaurant downstairs, which is absolutely genius.

Juan was an excellent host. He was so helpful in suggesting walks, places to see, places to eat. His breakfasts were superb and we were lucky enough to have two of his evening meals which were absolutely delicious.

    Jalon is a thriving town, especially the Saturday market (...

    Jalon is a thriving town, especially the Saturday market (flea and artisan). When we visited (Jan 2025) it was a sunny day so the market was huge, it brings in a lot of people. The Jalon Valley is also popular for cyclists, and there were many cycling teams training along the valley's roads during our stay. We enjoyed seeing people out and about in the area cycling and visiting the market. Jalon has many wine shops (Bodegas) where you can visit and have a look at the enormous wine barrels, and make purchases! We really like the Jalon Valley and will be visiting again asap.
