The owner is very nice and we were allowed to check in early, when asked. We found the bed comfortable, and we had no issues with the cleanliness.we loved the Spanish rustic charm and the free coffee pods and milk.it does have a high uneven access, but we did know about it on booking and it did not bother us as it is well worth for the amazing views.

The best part of the stay is the host, Fernando. What he lacks in communicating in English, he oozes charisma and a warm-hearted attitude. We somehow managed to understand each other. He brought us fresh bread every morning and even prepared & showed us how to make a proper Andalusian breakfast on our last day. There were 3 rooms in the house but we were the only guests during our 2 nights stay. The kitchen looks straight from a professional restaurant. The living & dining room area is huge. The swimming pool was great to cool off after a full day of sightseeing. The bed is comfortable although one long pillow is not really our choice for sleeping. The area is so peaceful and quiet. You would need your own transport to get there. Overall, it was such a lovely stay and I highly recommend it for anyone who wants to be spoilt by Fernando.

The host was exceptionally caring and calm. Very nice natural greeting. No fuss. Just a genuinely great person. The place was very calm. Beds very comfortable. The breakfast was very simple and local: some bread with a toaster and delicious crushed tomatoes. Everything else is well in line with the description.

If you like countryside, beautiful rocky and mountaneous...

If you like countryside, beautiful rocky and mountaneous landscapes, to take a hike with a view to olive trees and goats and a working agricultural scene, this is the place. On top people are friendly, there are a couple of restaurants and bars to entertain. I recommend bar/restaurant La Chaparilla, c. Castillo 17 in Íllora which is good for a drink, good solid meals and kind words.
