We visited twice on our journey to and from Portugal with our two dogs. The hotel is in a beautiful village and has lovely walks, it is quiet and peaceful. Our room was lovely overlooking the garden with a balcony. Dog beds, wipes, bowls all provided. We had half board and the food was exceptional with lovely friendly staff who spoke no English and us no Spanish but we still managed to communicate well.

Excellent one night stop at this hotel. Little off the beaten track but well worth the drive from the motorway. Great food in the restaurant at a very reasonable cost. Good choice at breakfast although fairly crowded due to coach party staying. Dog friendly & they provide dog beds, toy, bowls & doggy wipes for €15 per dog.

Lovely hotel in historic village. The building was interesting we had a room in the old part of the palacio. The meal we had for dinner was excellent. Lots of interesting choices on the menu, and very good value.

The main hotel building is stunning and full of historic character. The staff were very friendly and helpful.

Everything in this hotel is as you would expect from a top class hotel but the price is mid range.
