I practically never write reviews, but this place truly deserves it! 🙌🏻 It was a real escape from the hustle and bustle of city life—starting with the journey to the hotel. A tiny serpentine road winds into the mountains, passing through a beautiful forest straight out of a fairytale. The views were breathtaking, the rooms spacious, the food excellent, and the atmosphere incredibly romantic—calm and quiet. I slept like a baby. I absolutely loved that breakfast was served in the room—no need to rush in the morning. Just wake up and enjoy the moment with your partner. We stayed for two nights but wished we had booked a bit longer. The staff went above and beyond to take care of all our needs, even after we checked out. They managed to secure a reservation for us at a three-star Michelin restaurant—something we thought was impossible!

Excellent vibe about the hotel and bar, very friendly petrol station just across that helped us out with a tyre, cute little botanic gardens just across the river with excellent information. Staff super friendly and food rich and tasty. Garage parking perfect for a smallish car.

It's a small town. The hostal is in the center. The rooms are beautiful and I had a huge terrace. The owner also runs the bar/restaurant downstairs. I had a nice dinner. The breakfast buffet was also great. He is super attentive and has great local knowledge. Room was quite, spotless clean. Bed was huge. I felt really wellcome!

    TheI The Spa is not worth the money Would not go again..Elgorriaga is very small about 10 houses.Very unpleasant stay for the money we paid.The Reseption staff vere very rude and aggresiv when asked if they spoke English We could not get any info about the hotel.apart from we were limited to one houre a day in the spa and were expected to book that hour for every day of our stay.We did not eat in the hotel found a nice friendly restura n in the next village.
