It is a place where it is quiet. You hear the river and nothing else, really allowing you to get some rest. There are fun things to do in the area, like the waterfalls, and you can relax in the pool. They have a bar that is open a few nights a week, with very friendly people working there who make great food! Make sure to try the local wine as well! Our host, Tatiana, was so welcoming and good fun, she really made it a home away from home.

La Gándara is situated in Crespo. Each accommodation at the 4-star country house has garden views, and guests can enjoy access to a garden and to a bar.

Outstanding location. Crespo is a beautiful village, pleaceful, well-kept in an environment rich in wild flowers, butterflies, bird song..... Lovely walks from the door in multiple, different habitats. Clear, clean air. We saw many large raptors and a wild boar. Also interesting villages, towns, hermitages etc. You need a car to enjoy these. La Gandara itself is a beautiful, traditional house. Food was excellent (breakfasts and dinners). Javier and Isabella were very helpful and responsive and very knowledgeable about the local area. They went out of their way to communicate with us in English as our Spanish is very poor indeed. Friendly dinners around the large dining table (when other guests were there).
