Convenient location for the Via de la Plata, wonderful bath, helpful staff. The town has currently no eating facilities. As we were on foot, we messaged to check whether they could provide us with a simple dinner and breakfast - this they did.

Very clean and central to the main part of town. Had a nice retro feel to the property. Great choices for breakfast including gluten free items. The bed was very comfortable. Communication was very good with the property.

This is a unique gem. It dates from 16C and is exquisite. Breakfast was good. The staff were wonderful. Quiet location. They accommodated our bikes. We could get tea or coffee any time.

When I was there I spoke to the owner. It's been under new management for a few months. What made this a nice stay was the staff. Extremely helpful and friendly.

An old fashioned Spanish hotel, central, quiet, very clean, huge room and sitting room for 63 euros with garage parking for a modest charge. Very courteous and helpful staff. Liked the inlaid wood ?early 20th century furniture. Don’t come here if you want modern, anonymous, ‘could be anywhere’ hotel but we loved it for its style and authenticity.

We were very impressed by the structure of the hotel and how very charming and comfortable it was to stay there. The view from our vast balcony onto the convent and its tower was magical. Close proximity to the old town made it possible to visit many Romanesque churches and enjoy the culinary scene .
