The apartment looks brand new and very clean. It has modern fixtures and fittings, wifi, powerful aircon and a great walk-in shower. The apartment has its own allocated parking space. The block has a swimming pool, although I was unable to use it because of government water restrictions that ended when I returned home. The block is a minutes walk from the beach, about five minutes walk from good chiringitos (including my favourite in that area, Chiringito Manilva Beach), and it's 10-15 minutes walk from Castillo, Puerto de la Duquesa and two supermarkets (Eroski and Dia). Also there are bus stops nearby if you want to go further afield without a car. The owner is friendly, easy-going, patient and punctual.

Thanks to the courtesy of the receptionist, we were given a room with a sea view and a terrace in the price of our reservation, which included a standard room. The sunny days, which were most of us during our stay, made the terrace simply perfect. I can't imagine our stay without this view - the sound of waves, birdsong and proximity to the beach created an amazing atmosphere. The breakfasts were fine and the service was very nice. Yes, there are some things that could be improved - the ceramic tiles on the cornice and windowsill need to be glued, and the window frames could do with a refresh. The canteen is very beautiful, especially because of the view. The beach bar and its surroundings could also be better prepared - with a little care, this place would gain even more charm. The hygiene standards definitely deserve a plus, which are at a high level. Very comfortable beds and perfectly clean bedding ensured a comfortable rest. I booked my stay in advance for the last week of March - the weather was perfect. Overall we are very pleased and would definitely recommend!

The room was very big with plenty of room to relax and enjoy yourself. Breakfast was very nice with a good selection of food for all tastes. The pool was lovely and big with it very many using it all the time.

    It is a nice little town, with a lot of beach.

    It is a nice little town, with a lot of beach. Not the yellow sand but a bit grey- ish color. Lots of beach cafe's. And when you like walking you can go left or right on the beach and walk for miles. It has a nice harbour were all the cafe's and restaurants are. When driving there for the first time using sign post information you have to be very alert because when you see the sign were to leave the motorway, the sliproad is there as well right behind it.
