Breakfast was perfect via buffet system. Do not hesitate to ask the waiter for hot dishes (eggs, sausages, etc). Dinner was very tasty, also do not forget to ask for the dessert - they are perfect!!! Everything was very, very, very good ))) By the way, room with ghosts is 712. Be sure to visit the Minyona Tower for breathtaking 360 degree open view(!) Also after the parador you should visit Salt mine and tell that you are Parador's guests and get very pleasant discount for the tickets. Good luck to everybody!

Everything. Easy to get to. Clean comfortable and friendly staff. This is the second time we have stayed here and will more than likely return. The staff were very helpful and let us check in a lot earlier than usual. We didn't realise that check in was at 15:00.

Easy to find and access apartment at the very heart of Cardona old town. Host is very welcoming and helpful. Apartment has everything you would need including basic things in kitchen and bathroom. Room layout is very clever. As a big bonus they had umbrellas available at the hallway, we sure needed these.

We loved the proximity to the village center. The apartment was stylish, spacious and comfortable with sunny window views. We especially enjoyed the charming welcome we were given by Xavier who happens to speak beautiful English. Parking was just outside the building.

Lovely little apartment! Everything was very well thought out and the host was super nice! We especially enjoyed the location right next to the lovely municipal swimming pool and the castle. The bed was a small double and quite firm but nice and the kitchen had everything we needed

Everything was literally perfect! The hosts were super responsive and sweet, welcomed us warmly and even gifted us some fresh rosemary from the garden. The house is recently renovated, spacious, bright, clean, they have different amenities like a ping pong table, a huge bbq, even board games. Such a great space to disconnect from the noise of the city!

I generally only leave reviews if a property has been exceptionally good, or bad. This apartment was exceptionally good - clean, comfortable, spacious and very well equipped. My wife and I stayed here while on a cycling tour, and the apartment owner went out of his way to be helpful and welcoming. We would definitely stay here again, and I fully recommend it to anyone who is considering staying

    I waited to give this review because I wanted to be fair in my response. We won a stay at this hotel through another company and added some days to stay a couple of weeks in Spain. This one day was our return from Mallorca before leaving for our next vacation. We paid for this a one night stay but we never returned because of our previous encounters. We were not told that the hotel was undergoing a major renovation which stopped us from exploring. Prior to our arriving we tried to get information on getting to the hotel from the airport. We could not get anyone to assist. We had to take a cab which was very a very hefty sum. there is no easy way to get there. The first people we encountered we the nicest people there. An older gentleman and two young men early 20's, there helped us maneuver getting from the castle via cab and train into the heart of Barbelona. The exercise room was in renovation also and we are big exercise buffs. the hotel workers: Dinner the first night, rude waitress, basically ignored us and the Matre D' had to take our order after we waited for 25 minutes. The cafe for food outside of restaurant times. Food was terrible

    Cardona is a very old town and is stunning to explore however I do not recommend visiting this town if you find it difficult climbing stairs and steep hills especially in the old city It is physically demanding

    The town of Cardona is beautiful, not crowded with tourists and you can take trips to the surrounding area from there. And the apartment's discount code for entrance to the castle and salt mine was also nice. Thank you Xavi for a wonderful stay. He was in contact with us the whole time. Ford example, when we remembered the clothes dryer in the evening, he immediately got it for us.

    Everything, it was fabulous! One of the nicest apartments we have stayed in our travels across Spain. Concha (our host) met us the apartment and she was delightful. Lots of space and everything we needed for a very pleasant two night stop. If you visit Cardona this is the place to stay! Ten out of Ten👍😊
