A very walkable town with a fantastic beachfront. Canet de Mar is definitely not a tourist town. Instead, it is a quiet family oriented community. One thing that surprised me and my Argentinian wife was just how dominate the Catalonian language was in this region. The restaurants are fantastic and reasonably priced, and while the menus are in Catalonian most places also had English, French and other language (but not Spanish for some reason) versions available. The welcome was warm the knowledge of the front of house reception gentleman was brilliant. He directed us to a brilliant bar for excellent food. The hotel room was bright very clean and had a lovely balcony with a view over the sea and beach. The only down side was the train line outside but to be fair once the patio door was closed you didn't really hear the trains and I think they stopped running at night. Breakfast was nice and we were able to take our food on the patio to eat.Guest review byDeborah

Well kept throughout the family run hotel. Easy walk to the railway and the centre of Canet de Mar with some good bakeries, cafes, bar and restaurants. The manager was really helpful and friendly and seemed to be available at almost all hours. The whole team were very approachable. The 6 euro breakfast was excellent and replenished throughout the breakfast period.
