We loved everything about this hotel. the staff were so warm, helpful, welcoming and friendly. The hotel is dog friendly, very clean and comfortable. The food , evening meal, and breakfast was Amazing. we had broken eggs and ham for the evening meal and it was delicious, apparently eggs are special here and I can believe it. breakfast was everything and more we wanted and beautifully laid out and served.

    A hidden gem in the Salamanca province. One of the most beautiful villages we have ever seen in Spain. So spotlessly clean, so nicely-kept and we particularly liked that it was not full of souvenir shops.

    It is a beautiful village in a wonderful environment and...

    It is a beautiful village in a wonderful environment and stunning scenery . Very much worth a whole weekend stay for some hiking and visiting the surroundings. Good restaurants: we went to Casa Küme, which was very good but I know that Posada de Candelario, where we were staying, has a good resturant too.

    Very pleasant stay in the beautiful village of Candelario! Lovely bedroom with balcony.The host was extremely attentive and breakfast,in the charming was just right too! The only problem we had was with the heat,but that was because we visited when most of Spain was suffering from a particularly hot heatwave and of course,there was little that the hotel could do about that because due to the special situation of Candelario, buildings such as where the hotel is situated certain architectural norms must be obeyed.

    A wonderful stay in the beautiful village of Candelario. The room was very comfortable and spacious with good use of space. Everything was charmingly decorated, very clean and the room smelled beautifully every time we returned. Marta, the host, is very nice and made sure we had everything we needed. She also told us the history of the house and the village which was fascinating. I will definitely be coming back the next time I want to get away from New York City.

    What a nice hotel in the beautiful little mountain village Candelario. This hotel has the sweetest staff. The room was very tasteful decorated en very comfortable and clean. Surroundings are great for hiking.
