Excellent place, very kind host, nice location. Appartments ar fully equipped, they are suitable both for short-term and long-term holidays. The view from the balcony - beautiful. My stay at this property was nothing short of amazing— from the moment I arrived, the host ensured I had a seamless experience. He provided clear directions and made sure I settled in comfortably. Playa La Viuda is a hidden gem— a cave that offers complete tranquillity with a well-equipped kitchen that even includes a selection of spices. The outdoor space provides ample room for yoga, pilates, or simply working or dining at the large table while enjoying the refreshing sea breeze. As someone with a lung condition, I deeply appreciated the strictly smoke-free environment. The non-touristy nature of the area also made it a perfect place for quiet walks, allowing me to explore safely and at my own pace. The pristine beaches, just steps away, were often completely deserted, offering a rare and peaceful connection with nature. For those who enjoy breathtaking landscapes, this location is a dream. To the left, a scenic walking path extends all the way to the next town, offering stunning coastal views. To the right, a volcanic national park with incredible hiking trails awaits, making it an ideal destination for nature lovers and adventurers alike. Every aspect of my stay was exceptional, and the host’s genuine kindness and dedication to his guests made all the difference. I highly recommend this place and look forward to returning in the future.

Candelaria is a gem of a destination on Tenerife that we absolutely adore. This charming town offers several small, lovely beaches and a long, beautiful promenade perfect for leisurely walks. It exudes a peaceful and cozy atmosphere, with friendly locals and tourists alike. The town has everything you need, including shops, shopping centers, and a variety of restaurants. Finding parking is easy, at least in February, which adds to the convenience. It's also easily accessible by rental car, just a 20-minute drive from the northern airport. Candelaria is an excellent base for exploring the island, offering a perfect blend of relaxation and amenities.

Quiet and clean coastal village.

Quiet and clean coastal village. Very nice for walks along the rocky coastline, also a bit of shopping and dining in the small streets. Not a tourist-packed place like in the southern 'resort' cities of Las Americas and Adeje, but a really nice and relaxing destination. Temperatures in the north are not 'colder' than in the south, but the microclimate is much more soothing then in the south of the very same island.

The old part of Candelaria, the square with the statues of the Guanches are wonderful. In the new part - Punta Larga there are many restaurants and a wonderful patisserie. And it's all on the Avenida Maritima, drinking your beer and watching the waves.....

Candelaria is a lovely European town, not touristy like the area on the south/west of Tenerife. It was lovely for a couple of days exploring - the basilica is impressive and beautiful, there are plenty of cafes and nice places to eat along the seafront, and it has easy and quick bus connections to Santa Cruz. The black beaches are beautiful but perhaps the sea is a bit rough for swimming here.

I came here to visit friends. The place is well connected with the rest of the island and it is very close to the main city (Santa Cruz) and close enough to amenities in the south of the island. It is a tranquil place, with a very nice promenade next to the beach, family friendly.

Candelaria has some great restaurants such as Taberna Giron for fine food, Jimmy Food for good burgers and local craft beers from the Canary Island as well as many other good decent restaurants on the beach promenade. Another one of our highlights is Eclectico Cafe which has great breakfast/lunch.

We had an amazing time at Candelaria - Rest Apartment. The apartment was fully equipped with everything we needed and beautifully furnished, creating a very comfortable and stylish environment. The location is ideal—central enough to access everything easily, yet still wonderfully quiet for a peaceful stay. A great bonus was the private garage for our rental car, which made our stay even more convenient.

The apartment is ideally located in the centre of the village, Las Caletillas, which has a small number of traditional restaurants. It is about 5 kms for the Candelaria. There is a bus stop located 2 minutes walking distance from the apartment which frequent connections to Candelaria and Santa Cruz de Tenerife. There are numerous beaches in the vicinity, perfect for sunbathing and swimming.

I loved the way the bed is, it’s not a sofa bed, but you can pull out the bed, so you don’t have to change the sofa into a bed everyday. And the sea view is amazing! I really enjoyed watching the sunrise over the ocean. Also Candelaria is a very cute little village, everything is in walking distance and it was easy to park the car nearby. The studio is small, but has everything you need.

Nice little flat in Candelaria. Close to shops, beach, walks and bus stops. Has a robot hoover. Minimal but everything you need. Quiet at night. Candelaria is a nice place to stay; it's not very touristy, is holy, safe, nice atmosphere at night.
