Charming rural hotel, feeling like at home. The hosts are absolutely lovely and provided us lot of good advice to visit surroundings. Room top clean, simple and comfortable. Exceptional breakfast with very good local food and home-made yummy cakes. We also had dinner which was excellent. Bar based on trust: note what you take and pay it next morning, loved it. I highly recommend this place if you want to enjoy the beautiful surroundings and local spirit in a simple authentic manner.

A high point of our Camino stays. This property is historic, lovingly and beautiful restored, and simply wonderful. Our room was large, impeccable, and with a lovely bathroom. Big windows opened up on the bucolic property. Sunset is beautiful here. Note: This property is not near the Camino, but it's easy to get here by cab. We got in late, were hungry, and thankfully, they made a charcuterie plate with wine. Delicious! Breakfast was lovely. In the morning, they helped us get a cab which was much appreciated! Quinta de Villanueva goes above and beyond, and we were so appreciative!

Location was right on our cycle route. Communication was great. Room was very clean and super comfy. They allowed us to park our bikes in the entrance hall. Anyone on a cycle tour knows how important this is!

The personnel are very welcoming and helpful and the town centre is a pleasant 5 minute walk. San vicente is a good base from which you can explore magnificent beaches and coves, museums, caves or mountains. The room was great! Very cozy, clean and comfortable. Especially the bathroom with the rainshower was amazing. We had dinner twice at a local restaurant that served Mexican food, delicious and very afordable. Loben is directly next to the river where you can do kayaking and other activities. Loben and the location is overall a very Nice place to have your vacation.
