I was looking for somewhere quiet to stay and La Casona was peaceful and restful. The house is charming and Amelia went the extra mile to make sure I had everything I wanted. The breakfast was superb with a variety of delicious foods. The house and my bedroom/bathroom were spotlessly clean every day. I had a delightful stay and I thoroughly recommend La Casona deTresgrandas.

Close to the Caminho. Nice landlord who showed up immediately when we couldn’t get in. The room was welcoming with water, snacks and information about restaurants. The room was clean and the bed comfortable. Good value for money and I think the rating should be higher.

    A hamlet beside the village of Pendueles (and its railway...

    A hamlet beside the village of Pendueles (and its railway station) and close to the resort town of Llanes in Asturias, Buelna has a beautiful coastline with several small, not-too-busy, calm beaches and incredible views over the Asturian coastline which can be enjoyed along the rural walks which intertwine Buelna and Pendueles. You can also visit Llanes, which is nearby and bigger, by RENFE train and there are other activities such as bike hire in the area. If you are new to Asturias, try the cachopo, which is a large breaded fried fillet which comes in various meats and cheeses. Asturian cider is also notoriously good!
