During my recent trip to the Basque region of Spain, my stay at the Iriarte Jauregia hotel was an absolute highlight. Despite only staying for one night, this 17th-century palace left a lasting impression and quickly became my favorite place from the entire trip. From the moment I arrived, I was enchanted by the stunning architecture and the meticulously designed decor that perfectly blends historic charm with modern elegance. My room was incredible, offering a serene retreat with breathtaking views of the countryside. The sound of cows grazing with bells around their necks added a peaceful, Alpine-like ambiance that made my stay even more special. The culinary experience at Iriarte Jauregia was exceptional. With two on-site restaurants, I enjoyed some of the finest food and wine of my trip. Dinner was a gourmet delight, featuring creative dishes that highlighted local flavors. Breakfast was equally impressive, providing a wide array of delicious options that set a perfect tone for the day. The staff at Iriarte Jauregia were welcoming and attentive, ensuring that my every need was met with genuine warmth and hospitality. Their dedication to providing top-notch service made my stay all the more enjoyable. In summary, Iriarte Jauregia is a true gem in the Basque countryside. The magnificent palace, the remarkable decor, the incredible food and wine, and the unparalleled service all contribute to an unforgettable experience. This hotel is just perfect! Now we are on a roadtrip in Spain and this was our fourth hotel and it was really exceptional, regarding all aspects. The room was spacious, cosy, clean, very comfortable. There was a huge bed and huge bathroom. Despite its central location, the rooms are very silent (some of our colleagues were in another hotel nearby and they could not sleap because of the noise, but BideBide was super silent). I can fully recommend this hotel, it is even better than on the pictures!

My wife and I visited the area for Carnival. Had a great time and the location of the hotel made it easy to explore by car. The hotel was very comfortable and clean. Beds were fantastic, with large rooms and nice bathrooms. Our room had a great walkout balcony and breakfast was delicious with lot of options and variety (recommend the tortilla). Very friendly staff.

We just had the most wonderful stay at Baiolei! Ana, the hostess, welcomed us so charmingly we felt at home here right away. She provided us with great tipps for our day trips. The rooms were very clean and tidy and had everything we needed. The shared kitchen was equipped very well so you could make yourself nice homemade dinners. The free coffee and tea was another great extra. All in all, it was a great stay and we can really recommend it!

    Reception service was incorrect ( no feedback on our complaints) service at the bar, terras, and Bistro was very slow, and bad due lack of staff. Food in Bistro is far below par. The room is too small, no privacy in the bathroom. Shower in the bathtub big no-no. Waist of time as we used this hotel as a transit hotel, but the hotel was far away from the highway, and was not worth the detour.

    Its was just what we were after for our holiday. Beautiful hotel, nicely decorated, very comfortable large bedroom with an accompanying large bathroom. Decorated exquisitely. The staff are all so friendly and helpful and very knowledgeable. The breakfast is of a good size and is of good quality and their bistro and main restaurant are of a very high level.
