It is a city with a lovely centre.
It is a city with a lovely centre. It is easy to wander around and it has lots of monuments to visit. Its cuisine is worth mentioning; you must try Iberian pork, not just the typical ham, but other parts of the animal too. Were I you, I would find out about the restaurants; it is essential to choose the most suitable one, not for the price, but for the quality of the product.

Great hotel stop, travelling from Santander to Portugal.
Great hotel stop, travelling from Santander to Portugal. Hotel was very clean, room was great, there was good parking, it had a restaurant and a cafeteria with a bar, pool and gym. Lovely grounds at the back. My dog was also welcome. Only thing there was no tea and coffee making facilities in the room and no info re food serving times etc,. The hotel was just off the Motorway but still peaceful. Will most definitely stay again on our travels

This was a stop-over for me whilst cycle touring and it was a good place to stay. The manager was extremely nice and helpful and my bike was put in secure storage overnight. The room was very clean and had a window onto the roof terrace, nice to get some fresh air into the room. There was also air conditioning, so the room was very comfortable. I also had a great coffee from the hotel bar in the morning.

Our suite was very comfortable with a magnificent bathroom. Staff helpful and friendly. The hotel will sell you a box of 6 bottles of cava, something it is otherwise quite difficult to buy in this centre of cava viticulture! Underground car park and our dog was made very welcome.

The manager took us in his car to a restuarant because we couldn’t get a taxi - above the call of duty. Hotel was close to bars and restuarants. Secure parking on site.

Really impressive for a hotel by the main road. Comfortable, clean, nice hot shower, friendly and amazing food served at night and at breakfast in restaurant.
