Really lovely place to stay in Alhaurin! The hostess, Lidja, was very helpful, and communication was super easy from start to finish. Comfortable and clean room, and breakfast was excellent! (Served on a beautiful rooftop terrace too...). I would recommend Casa Amapola to anyone.

Alhaurine el Grande is a nice Spanish village for those who don't want to crowd with the tourists by the sea. Perfect for golfers, several nice courses around the village and in the neighboring area. Nice restaurant street in the village with many different kinds of food and friendly staff. Speaks Spanish and English. Alhaurine el Grande is well worth a visit.

Location was good for us.

Location was good for us. On arrival it was very windy and upon enquiring about wifi the receptionist said that wifi was poor on windy days! Never heard of wind blowing away WiFi signals. Anyhow, there was no wifi available in the room and don’t think the receptionist was being honest.

The town was good and the restaurant in the town was good thank goodness otherwise there was nothing to offer at all at the hotel. There should at least be a kettle to make to or coffee and breakfast as promised.

Having a disability one of the reason I go to this hotel is...

Having a disability one of the reason I go to this hotel is the swimming pool I checked in advance like normal that it would be open after checking in and changing to use the pool I was shocked how dirty and green it was. when I complained they informed me it was closed

lovely traditional Spanish town nice to get away from the "tourist' areas & experience the real Spain stunning mountain scenery a very busy town with plenty going on - shops/ bars/tapas/restaurants etc beautiful churches there is nothing not to like !

Denis & Yolanda, are fantastic hosts. Accommodation was lovely with everything you need, beautiful decor, comfy bed, great shower and well equipped kitchen. Garden and pool areas are beautiful. 15 mins walk to town which was perfect for us. Parking right outside the house. 25 minutes to the airport or beach by car and loads of golf courses near by. Cannot recommend Casa de Ana highly enough. Arrived as guests and left as friends!
