Well, I have relatives here and my reunion with them was incredibly beautiful. Everyone we passed was friendly and so warm and welcoming. But you don’t need to have relatives here; the locals are incredibly welcoming. We sat outside their houses and talked. Aldeanueva de Barbarroya is such a special place. I was able to see my mother’s childhood home and the whole experience was incredible. My cousin’s daughters took me to La Lavadores Blancos and we saw old houses and new growth as well. I will always treasure my time here.
