This was my second visit to this casa rural so i already knew what to expect. Helpful owner, a lovely room in a beautiful house. Very clean and comfortable and close to nearby bar/restaurant.

Our second stay here at this fabulous Castillo and it won’t be our last (hopefully!). A truly magnificent and atmospheric castle, loaded with history, but also modern day comforts like great heating, hot water and wifi. We splashed out on the Presidential Suite this time and it was definitely worth it. Great views out of the windows, very good shower and a comfortable bed. We were driving from Bilbao to Tarifa and it made the perfect half way stop over. No suppers provided but a grand old kitchen you are welcome to use to cook up your own food. Plus help yourself to breakfast in the morning. Easy, safe parking for our large van. We loved it - 10/10 Thank you

Very friendly reception. There was a bar/restaurant downstairs. Good and quite room. Safe place for our bicycles. We booked with breakfast and dinner which both were good.

I LOVED everything about this haven. I arrived from my Camino walk for the day ...not in the best of spirits and hurting. I couldn't have arrived at a better place. It's rooms by a small pool and there's an excellent grocery, cafeteria store attached, both run by mother (Marisa) and daughter (Sayoa). The accommodation is brand new, small but exceptionally well thought out with use of space, clean and simple, high end finishings, superb shower, Aircon and TV. The care and hospitality is superb too, and I was served wonderful food, just asked if I liked certain things and sat back and waited, and it was superb too. There is an outdoor kitchen with seating and a fridge, and all the little touches, subtle touches just added to the ambience. I arrived around 1pm and didn't leave until after an excellent breakfast at 9.30am the following morning. I can't recommend it enough, perhaps if you don't want the husstle and hassle of staying in the city, you could use this haven as it's 11kms from Cáceres, and really delivers as a "get away from it all" place. HUGE good luck and fortune to Sayoa and Marisa, they deserve it and are wonderfully nice too. If I could give 11 I would!

Very nice hosts. The appartment meets all expectations, really comfy beds, choice of pillows. The host left us some breakfast and was available to communicate throughout. We really enjoy our stay and hope to go back soon.

Fantastic value for money. A perfect stop off point if you're traveling from North to South of Spain and need somewhere in the middle. Juan was even kind enough to put my motorcycle into his garage overnight as the train was horrendous. Comfy bed, great breakfast dinner in the bar adjacent was great. Planning to stay there on my way back

Very nice place in small town, which is super calm and quiet and all the people are very kind and friendly. Very cool local bar on the next street. The room was cozy, clean and comfortable.

The property is located midway between the Santander ferry terminal and our destination in the Algarve in a community of high value housing around a golf course. Our fully laden car with some quite valuable content was parked in a secure parking area beside the apartment, which is part of the owners’ house. It is close to Caceres which is well worth a visit with its superb old town (we have been before but did not do so on this visit). Luis was an excellent host and could not have been more helpful. The apartment was large, clean, warm, comfortable and exceptionally well equipped. There were more towels than we could have used in the very good bathroom and good toiletries. The good sized bedrooms have a double and a single bed, ideal for a family of four or two couples (there were 3 of us). The cost gave superb value for money and I’m sure we will return. Thanks Luis, this is probably the most glowing report I’ve written and you deserve it!
