Amaia is a very good host and makes you feel at home. Beautiful garden to walk around in, with farm animals and leads down to the river. Within 5 minutes walk of a couple of bars for drinks and food.

The welcome was great, the staff were really pleasant. We got a lovely room with a sea and mountain view. It was our wedding anniversary and there was a nice bottle of cava in the room. They were very thoughtful. Breakfast was good and the Thalassotherapy spa was very relaxing. We used the spa every day. The location was great as it had a beach, walks, several restaurants and some nice bars in the immediate location. Plus it was a 20 minute drive into the centre of San Sebastian from there.

Everything about this place was absolutely stunning. The view, the neighborhood, the old towns and villages, the drive. I don't think I have had such a pleasant experience anywhere else in the world. This hotel was absolutely mind blowing. The pictures do not do justice. The view from our room was worth all the money, we felt like we paid less for what it is actually worth.

    Aizarnazabal is a small village with very friendly people.

    Aizarnazabal is a small village with very friendly people. It has a nice bar/restaurant, small supermarket and bakery. We were there during the Feria, and got to enjoy the local culture. A great place to stay, and visit Bilbao, the beaches and San Sebastian.
