I had the privilege of staying at Longchamps for a total of five nights and left it with the best impressions and memories. The hotel is situated centrally and yet offers peace and quietness. It was comforting to retreat there after a day on the noisy and stressful streets of Cairo. The rooms are spacious, newly refurbished and decorated tastefully as is indeed the hotel overall. I wish to emphasize the particular cleanliness of the rooms and of its several premises. I very much appreciated and enjoyed the veranda of the hotel both in the morning, when breakfast is served there, and during the evenings as it’s the perfect spot to relax. As regards breakfast, I tried the oriental breakfast on the first morning of my stay and got stuck with it. It is not only delicious, but also very nutritious; in fact, we skipped lunch every day during our stay in Cairo. Abdulrahman introduced me to various sorts of Egyptian cheese and to other domestic delicacies and conversing with him was interesting and pleasant. Overall, the personnel is possibly the real highlight of Longchamps! Everyone, in all positions, are very polite, friendly and helpful. I would like to thank them all very much for making our stay at the hotel such a remarkably beautiful experience!

There was a quiet magic to our time at Numero CINQ — from the soft glow of the garden in the evening to the calm comfort of its tastefully appointed interiors. It's rare to find a place that so perfectly captures both the chic allure and hearty spirit of Cairo. A majestic stay we’ll be sure to return to soon.

H Suites Zamalek is a luxury villa-style hotel that perfectly combines modern comfort with the vintage charm of old Cairo. The villa itself once belonged to Mohamed Abdelwahab (موسيقار الأجيال) — the legendary Egyptian composer — and I was lucky enough to stay in the Abdelwahab Suite, the very room where he once lived. It’s hard to describe the feeling of being in such a historic space, surrounded by that artistic legacy, yet enjoying all the comfort of a modern, well-maintained property. From the moment I arrived, everything felt effortless. The staff welcomed me like family — not guests — and Hager in particular was beyond exceptional. She personally upgraded me to a beautiful Nile-view suite, immaculately clean and full of character. Every detail around the villa feels warm and personal: the polished vintage décor, the quiet ambiance, and the genuine hospitality that makes you feel like you belong there, not like a stranger in a hotel. Hager deserves a special mention for her dedication. Every question or request I had, she handled with genuine care and deep attention — from finding a nearby gym to arranging laundry, calling restaurants for reservations, and even discussing my experiences in Cairo’s attractions. I had an incredible stay at the hotel which far exceeded my expectations. The hotel is big, beautiful and with a wonderful atmosphere. The room is spacious, bed was super comfortable and all the necessary facilities were there. In particular the staff was exceptional. Everyone was so kind and helpful...no words honestly. Big thank you to the concierge manager who helped us from some people that scammed us by selling fake papyrus paintings. Thanks to him we went back to the shop to get our money back. Not everyone does that.

Location, standard and restaurant are fantastic. But I have to give a very special Star to the staff and management. There was a problem during my stay related to construction works in an adjacent floor. But management took full responsibility and swiftly corrected the problem plus offered me compensation. Very impressive and truly a top class service attitude.
