Sharm El Sheik is a cheap place to visit. Plenty to do, plenty to see, beautiful weather (not a cloud seen in 10 days). Taxis are mega cheap (remember to agree price before travelling and be prepared to tell the driver you don't wish to travel with him and another Taxi will be along in less than a minute. Reef Oasis to Old Town was 100 Egyptian each way (£1-50 U.K.).
As I have a PADI License, I booked a trip to go Scuba diving at Tiran Island when I was in Old Town and paid £50 U.K. for three dives, pick up/drop off from Hotel, all soft drinks on board, lunch and all equipment. I challenge anybody reading this to find anywhere cheaper.
Shopping is great in Egypt, Old Town is cheapest. Make sure to bargain hard. I bought a watch. The seller originally wanted £170. 10 mins later I got it for £60 (and its a beautiful watch). Don't shop unless you are prepared to barter.

Sharm El Sheikh is a stunning tourist city with beautiful beaches, crystal-clear waters, and plenty of fun water activities. It’s an excellent destination for families and those looking to relax. However, it’s worth noting that some people there (not everyone) can be pushy – following you around, trying to pressure you into buying something, paying them, or even acting like they are begging. This can be a bit annoying, especially if you’re looking for a peaceful experience.
Overall, I recommend Sharm El Sheikh for families to enjoy its natural beauty and activities, but stay alert and cautious when dealing with certain street vendors or people in markets.

Sharm El Sheikh is truly a beautiful destination with so much to offer. The beach life and entertainment are amazing, with a variety of activities and experiences for every taste. There are plenty of nice resorts that provide good value for money at generally acceptable prices.
However, there are some challenges that need attention:
Airport experience is very poor—transportation, customs, and immigration services are below expectations and create a bad first impression.
Food and drink quality and cleanliness in some places should be improved.
Some people focus only on pushing for high social media reviews instead of giving honest advice and real service, lake of organizations and use new digital tools which affects trust and the guest experience,.
Overall, Sharm El Sheikh has huge potential and offers wonderful beaches, activities, and resorts, but more attention is needed to improve airport facilities, service ethics, and food standards to reflect the true beauty of the destination

he hotel was very clean – pools, rooms, and the whole area were well maintained. The food was relatively varied and of good quality, and the sea was beautiful and clean.
However, a big issue came up if you are traveling with a child and you are not from the UK. A company called Holiday Village controls almost all the entertainment, sports activities, and the kids’ club. If you are a UK guest, this hotel is absolutely amazing, but if not, it can become a nightmare for you and your child.
Guests are given different wristbands – UK guests get a blue one, most other Europeans get black, and Arab guests get white. Since we had the black wristband, my 7-year-old son, because Normally he doesn't speak English well, was not allowed to join the kids’ club, entertainment, or even activities like football. Even when several children from outside Holiday Village wanted to play football in the evening, the staff would literally turn off the lights on the field. Only after strong insistence from parents and kids did they allow them to play for one hour on one night. This kind of separation between children is very hard to accept and really disappointing.
Apart from that, everything else was as expected from a 5-star Egyptian resort. Alcoholic drinks were very limited and cannot be compared to Antalya hotels, but the reception staff specially a nightshade guy named Mahmood, help us a lot to experience a nice welcome to this hotel.housekeeping also were polite, friendly, and did their best.

Excellent hotel. Staff super friendly and efficient. Restaurant and food above average for an All Inclusive. Outside pool Restaurant served really delicious food and the staff were amazing. On our last day reception told us we could use the room until we left at 4pm so we could shower, really nice touch.
Only downside was the spa; we used our complimentary half hour but the steam room wasn't that hot and the jacuzzi wasn't warm at all with tiles not only fallen off but in little piles! Needs some refurbishment.

Very spacious one bedroom flat. We liked being so close to the old city, fruit/veg market, Old Town, etc. Beach at the end of the road, 4$/day, walkable.
It's a great alternative to hotels/all inclusive.
Few hiccups with the communication due to language barrier, but ironed out smoothly. Thank you Simona!
We suggest get everything in place before you arrive.
The flat is very nicely decorated and has all a couple or family needs.

Everything was excellent , facilities , cleanness, very friendly and professional staff. Absolute 5 star treatment, everyone in hotel can not do enough for you. A special highlight was my birthday dinner , which made my day feel even more special.
