Hotels near Al Qal‘ah

We really enjoyed our stay with Nadia, and even if the accommodation is a little out of the way, you can get to Sakkara relatively quickly by taxi and also a little further to the very worthwhile Red Pyramid and the Bent Pyramid. Every time you come back from an excursion, you have the feeling of returning to an oasis of calm. Everything is beautifully and lovingly laid out, Nadia is a great hostess and the food is delicious and the breakfast plentiful. We would definitely recommend this accommodation!

This is definitely one of the most beautiful places I've ever stayed at on vacation. It's not like one of the million Cairo x star hotels or AirBnBs with a view on the Giza Pyramids: Revesta Dashur is far away from the noises of a big city, immersed in the extraordinary and unique Egyptian countryside and closer to other marvelous archeological sites, like the Fayoum Pyramids, where you can truly explore a pyramid by yourself. The Dashur Pyramids are even better and we will never forget the view, especially at sunset. On this matter, I truly recommend going on the sunset tour to the pyramids with the owner. The owner, Islam, really helped me a lot in organizing my trip to Egypt, as we wanted to visit less touristic places: he also provided us with a reliable and friendly (even if he didn't speak English😂) driver at a reasonable price. They can also provide you with dinner and breakfast at an additional cost and the food is just delicious!!! The house is very typical, the room and the bathroom were sufficiently clean. We'd also like to thank the rest of the staff we encountered during our stay: really nice guys!!! We will definitely come back for our 2nd trip to Egypt!

Breakfast was delicious and the ladies preparing it were very nice and caring. Wonderful the pyramids view! Really Unique! Dala from the reception has been very helpful and provided great support. Accomodation clean and comfortable, Mohamed, Amir, and the other staff members also very good!

The view was amazing but above all the staff went above and beyond. A especial thank you to the staff, once you leave the place you will go home with good memories and as well the friendship from the owner. I recommend this stay to anyone that wants to spend days in Egypt near the pyramids. Well located outside the caotic traffic jams of Cairo and the same near everything.

The property, as described, is a little distance from Giza but easily accessible by Uber.Beautiful location. It's a very quiet place. A place where you can connect the body with the soul. The owner looks after the property well, and he prioritizes guests.  He is fair and does not push for additional services, i.e., day outs. The property itself is clean and equipped well.He has a fair-sized garden where he is growing vegetables.An additional attraction is his two cats and friendly middle-sized dog.It was an honour for us to spend time with his family and eat food prepared by him. I'll happily return to this property again. The most beautiful thing about it is that no matter where you go, it is important who you see.

We loved our 4 night stay at Giza Palace Pyramid View. A peaceful oasis just outside the main tourist area of Giza. It took max 10 -15 minutes in an uber to drive to the Pyramids (remember to ask for the main entrance). A bit longer to the amazing GEM Museum (extremely worthwhile) and 20 - 30 minutes into downtown Cairo to do King Tutankhamen. The breakfast was amazing! Now we are in Luxor I am really missing it. We ate all the raw vegetables that came with breakfast and everything was washed fresh, so no sickness bugs. We also ordered the evening meals (my grilled fish was really good). Everyone liked it. Kids loved the pasta (and I have very picky kids). They offered lots of tours, but we chose to just uber direct. We didn't get a guide and in hindsight one for the GEM would have been good. Assume several hours for the GEM. We had 3hrs and stayed to eat as well. If we didn't have the kids we'd definitely have done some of the trips and the night cruise, but with the kids it wasn't worth it for us. Central Giza is almost as busy and crazy traffic as Cairo, so it was so nice being slightly further out. Just a couple on minutes to walk to a very safe ATM (police there all the time). I'd say we are hardened travellers, don't mind haggling and tend to be savy to a hustle, but I was glad we were not in the thick of it. Our uber cost less than £1.50 each time. The drivers where always nice and wanted the good reviews. Very comfortable beds. Good hot showers. We had a bath as well, which was nice for the kids. We used the air conditioning unit to heat the room as it was cold at night. Soon nice and warm. Pool spotless. Obviously cold in February, but my kids got in all the same. I took shortie wetsuits for the kids, which was such a brilliant decision in the end. No burning and loads of warm fun in the Pool. That's it, I can't think of anything else to write. Very safe area, very nice hotel, friendly staff. Loved it.

Everything is just perfect - a breand new hotel with great location, facilities, and food. What is even exceptional - the all staff are very kind and helpful, and we especially benefited from the excellent service of Ashraf who let us check in earlier and help find a good guide. Such friendly staff and good services are rare nowadays. We certainly will come again and recommend this hotel for everyone.

At first I felt that the place is far from everything, but when I arrived, the security man welcomed me with a beautiful smile and then took us to the receptionist whose name was Saleh and he treated us as if we were at home. To be honest, the place is beautiful and very clean. All the hotel staff are wonderful. The place is close to the pyramids and close to the city. The breakfast is very nice and the orange juice is always fresh. I was happy with the stay and I will come back again very soon. I wanted to thank all the staff for providing assistance to me because they were kind to me and I would like to thank Mr. Mahmoud, the owner of the hotel, for helping me himself.

I really liked the cooperation of the people there, as well as the beautiful view and the psychological calm. I also liked the speed of the service. Thank you.

Holiday Inn & Suites is my choice whenever I travel to Cairo for business. Everything was great, excellent and helpful staff. The suite is well equipped and the view is amazing. Location is great for my meetings spread between New Cairo and 6th of October.
