The room was spaceous, clean and with big windows and a lovely view. The bed had many warm blankets so we were never cold in the night! The restaurant and the host Darwin were amazing, too, every dish we had made was excellent!! And he was really eager to help, even he didn‘t speak a lot of english and we did not speak a lot of spanish :) Truly the best value for money we‘ve encountered in a long time and would come back anytime!

A wonderful garden like base. it’s a real privilege to stay in Diego and Janeth‘s lovely casa. Cosy and spacious, spotlessly clean, outstanding breakfast and free tea around the lovely fireplace to return to in the evenings. It’s a beautiful and quite comfortable place to stay. I travelled with my family and we booked two rooms, one deluxe room for 2 persons and a Comfort suite for 3 with 2 rooms. Both had a great interior design, comfortable beds, good working fireplaces, and ecological shampoos and body creams. For the breakfast, they served fruits with muesli, bread with homemade jam, eggs, and pancakes (and tigrillo for the second day). The staff was really attentive and polite the whole time. For one day we booked a full day excursion through the national park and the local guide was really attentive and considerate, too, especially with my older parents who had to walk very slowly. Finally, the view to the Cotopaxi volcano is amazing!! Thank you very much, Chilcabamba Lodge!

Hacienda El Porvenir is absolutelly amazing accomodation to stay next to Cotopaxi national park. We loved the premises as it is hidden in the countryside and thanks to its unique and well protected architecture you trully feel like in a different world. World of peace, quietness where you can enjoy the nature and magnificent Cotopaxi volcano. The room was super comfortable, the food was delicious and also their spa is incredible. All the staff is so kind and willing to help you. We also booked a hiking trip and a horseriding trip with them and it was epic.

What an amazing place to stay! The reviews and photos were already impressive, but the real experience is even better. The host is incredibly kind, always willing to help, thoughtful, and really committed to making your stay the best it can be. The food in the restaurant is good, with authentic Ecuadorian-style flavors. Waking up to a view of the Cotopaxi or having breakfast outside in the green field with that same view is really unforgettable. You can explore the surroundings on foot or relax in one of the hammocks on the property with a book and a view of Cotopaxi. This place is an absolute gem, and I will definitely be coming back!

This is one of those rare accommodations where staying one night feels like staying a whole week. The price/quality ratio is fabulous and the hostess and her three lovely dogs make you feel right at home. We received excellent information regarding our visit to Cotopaxi National Park and she helped organize our private tour. Would definitely stay again!
