So many highlights, first the place is beautiful, the beds super comfortable, the food is excellent. The view of the vulcano is magnificent. at the afternoon the bonfire is lit.... beautiful moment to chill and relax, having some coffee or hot chocolate. The amability of Fernando, his father Francisco and his family. I did the tour to cotopaxi vulcano with them, Freddy was our guide, he was great also. Absolutely recommended

The staff were amazing, attentive and helpful. The family made sure that the fire was always going to keep us warm, gave us milk for teas and coffees daily and made sure all our other needs were met. The cooking was £8 per person and did not disappoint, it was very delicious and filling.

The owner has a golden heart and a knowledge about everything in the neighbourhood. She helped is with the tours and her care was amazing. We got even upgrade of the rooms for free. Really lovely, silent and relaxed place.

Large room clean and quiet. The Dining room has a large fireplace and comfortable chairs. The food is delicious. There are walks around the farm and horse riding. Great views of the volcanos. The owners could not have been more welcoming and hospitable.

Frank is an amazing host! He helped us so much with planning of the trips around. ( El Corazón, Iliniza Norte, Cotopaxi....) Chaupi was our base camp for the acclimatization in mountains in Ecuador. We spent in Frank hostal amazing one week and I can definitely say, that it was the best decision stay in Ilinizas Wasi. You can use a kitchen, pat their dog and cats, use the washing machine. Frank even helped us with booking a guide for Cotopaxi and he recommended us great guide Marco. ( From 8 groups we were the only ones, who reached the summit.) I recommend this place 10/10.!

Great location, view over Cotopaxi and other volcanoes was fabulous. Lots of birds in the grounds. Fantastic room with a lovely wood fire to keep you cosy. Restaurant food was good. If driving yourself allow a lot more time to get there - we nearly did not make it before park shut due to bad roads, cows and an accident (not us) slowing things dow.
