An authentic Danish farm to spend a couple of days at. Nice people, a lot of space, animals, somehow rough rural atmosphere — however not far away from all the tourist spots like Legoland and Lego House. The kitchenette in the room allows being as independent as one gets during a stay.

The accommodation is very nicely situated in a quiet area. It is close to Legoland by car and all the interesting places in the area. The rooms are practical and clean. The common room and kitchen are perfectly equipped. The surroundings are beautiful, ideal for families with children. You can grill, make a fire, play football. We would definitely like to come back someday.

It is a wonderful place where you can relax after a day of exploring the area. Despite a very late arrival at the guest house, the owners made sure that we felt at home. A map and a warm welcome letter were waiting for us at the reception. After entering our apartment, we were delighted with its cozy decor and amazing cleanliness. However, the wow factor came during breakfast. Smiling and very communicative owners, delicious food and tiny bribes for children made every day a pleasant start. We just felt like good friends. The area of the guesthouse is suitable for active recreation or relaxation by the pond. A wonderful vegetable garden, which delighted my children, and the rooster's crowing wake-up, only completed a wonderful stay in the guesthouse. Thank you for your hospitality. ♥️

The best place to spend a vacation in nature. We even saw deer at the feeder by the terrace two evenings. The host is very responsive. Very spacious open plan living room with kitchen where you can cook dinner with the family.

We had low expectations based on the reviews, but we wanted...

We had low expectations based on the reviews, but we wanted a budget-friendly stay near Legoland, so we wouldn't be there much. Plus: a warm, hot bathroom, a dishwasher, a friendly host, animals, and breakfast. Minus: the shabby appearance and broken items, no coat rack, and substandard bedding for a "B&B."

There are fantastic hiking opportunities, including...

There are fantastic hiking opportunities, including Karlsgårde Lake and Kvie Lake nearby. Both are fantastic and you can visit Tambours Have when walking around Karlsgårde Lake and don't forget to visit Karlsgårdeværket.

Didn't think it was ok that we paid 813,-kr without...

Didn't think it was ok that we paid 813,-kr without breakfast because we had booked through here and my cousins who had called the inn directly had to pay 759,-kr with breakfast. Otherwise it's a nice cozy place, nice waiters at the inn and delicious food.
