The island is a bird paradise.

The island is a bird paradise. We took wonderful bike tours to the neighboring island of Møn, visited the beach there, or swam right from the jetty on Nyord. The café directly opposite our accommodation is very cozy and the food is delicious.

Nyord is a small village that exudes peace and idyll.

Nyord is a small village that exudes peace and idyll. Here you will find charming, old houses and small stalls with handicrafts and cozy flea markets. The village has an atmospheric harbor and invites you to relaxing walks – both through the idyllic streets and as part of the beautiful hiking route, Camønoen.

It's a bit of a time travel 100 years back in time with...

It's a bit of a time travel 100 years back in time with almost car-free streets, cute buildings, small nice flea market stalls with bargains, great restaurants. Wonderful and relaxing environment, a bit remote but nice. We will return as this was the third time we were here.

Nyord is a true Danish gem.

Nyord is a true Danish gem. The nature is beautiful, the atmosphere is lovely and you feel like you have been transported back a hundred years. The best part is that there are no cars on the roads, as only locals are allowed to drive there. Tourists park their cars upon arrival on the island and either walk or cycle around.

Nyord is interesting for birdwatching.

Nyord is interesting for birdwatching. A car or bicycles are needed to reach other interesting destinations on the island of Møn. The cliffs of Møns Klint and the beach and surrounding area of Ulvshale are highly recommended. A very pleasant circular hike can also be undertaken here.

A small, sleepy village, currently with 31 inhabitants.

A small, sleepy village, currently with 31 inhabitants. Beautiful houses, handicrafts, a small restaurant, a church surrounded by water, meadows, and nature. If you're looking for peace and quiet on your holiday, this is the perfect place. It's important to know that you can't drive into the village; there are two parking areas on the outskirts.
