It wasn't the first time. 7 years before we were there,...

It wasn't the first time. 7 years before we were there, where it was also good. The renovation suits the hotel. And this time 1 day - wonderful stay The food excellent. The room we got - lovely with a view of Fejø. We would have visited - unfortunately either day in snow and ice. We will be back.

Unfortunately, our stay at the hotel was only a stopover, but it suited us perfectly. It's a traditional hotel, recently renovated, and staffed by a very motivated team. They clearly enjoyed pampering their guests. Its location right on the Baltic Sea and the hotel's amenities make it ideal for a longer stay.

Personally, I think that there was a lack of a TV in the room - but that may have been a deliberate omission on the part of the hotel - and that it lacked a bit more of a "beach hotel atmosphere". The food was a bit disappointing on both nights I ate in the brasserie. The service was superb, and the location is really top notch.

The spa hotel is the only nice thing in the town itself!

The spa hotel is the only nice thing in the town itself! Knutenborg Safari Park is stunningly beautiful and well worth a visit, but in Bandholm itself, you absolutely need a car to explore the surrounding area. We did a lot of hiking there, but you often have to cover longer distances by car first.

Fantastic cozy hotel with high quality - both in terms of food and service, Very friendly staff! Super location near Dodekalitten and Knuthenborg with the evolution museum. Lovely nature - Impressive sunset over the water!

As I previously announced, Bandholm Hotel called and...

As I previously announced, Bandholm Hotel called and informed us that there were no rooms on October 12. Since we could not change the days, they suggested booking into another hotel via booking.com. The proposed hotel with 4 or 8 per room did not suit us. Bandholm confirmed by email, promised to refund the room cost, which has not yet happened. Kind regards Görgen Holmdahl

Charming stylish boutique hotel, perfectly located in a small, historic village by the sea. The completely uncrowded beach is 100m from the hotel. The facilities were excellent, staff first class and general environment unbelievably calm and relaxing. Regrettably we were passing through so only spent one night. Next time hopefully a bit longer. If like us you are driving from elsewhere in Europe to Sweden via the Puttgarden ferry, this is a perfect place to over-night.

Nice hotel, a little bit old (we were in the back buildings, i think the rooms in the hotel are more nice and renovated). There was a wedding at the hotel and we could not hear anything :) Stuff, especially our waiter during dinner was super nice :) Knuthenborg Safari is super close.

Everything felt very new, clean, finished to a high standard and lovingly decorated. The bed and bathroom were better than many expensive hotels. The hosts were very welcoming and it was nice to have the use of a full size kitchen and coffee machine.
