This holiday flat wowed us with its location and beautiful...

This holiday flat wowed us with its location and beautiful views. Although the area around the marina is still under construction at the moment, we did not find this having an impact on our stay. Would love to come back to see the development finished. The flat itself is beautiful, spacious and has everything we needed. The panorama window in the living room and the balcony are spectacular! The sunsets on the eastern side of the Kiel fjord are something to behold. We sat on the balcony every evening, mesmerised by the views. Breakfast on the balcony was lovely, too. We observed the many different seabirds on the little bit of land on the other side of the marina. The little bistro in the harbour was a useful stop for a night cap, ice cream or snacks. The local supermarket is a short car (or bike) drive away. Schleswig_Holstein is my home, so there are far too many places for me to recommend! We did spend some lovely days in Laboe and on the beaches in Schönberg and Hohwacht. The best fish rolls of all time is being sold of the back of a van in Laboe harbour!

For this price, you can now get more at other wellness hotels. The massages offered are top-notch. Excursions to Schleswig/Gottorf, Lübeck, Kiel, and the Holstein Switzerland region are worthwhile, as is Laboe and the surrounding area.

Plenty of playgrounds for younger children.

Plenty of playgrounds for younger children. Well-maintained green spaces. Shopping facilities in the village. We missed having beach chairs. You have to drive a bit to get to the swimming area. Too many dogs there. Dogs aren't allowed on the beach, but this rule isn't enforced or enforced. You should at least have a bicycle. Otherwise, there's no other means of transport.

Quiet location with a fantastic view of the sea.

Quiet location with a fantastic view of the sea. Shopping facilities are also nearby, and it's easy to take a day trip to Kiel, Laboe, etc. A great feature is the opportunity to buy fresh fish or fish sandwiches (depending on the catch) at the harbor in the mornings. The quiet, rarely crowded white sandy beach is truly unique.

Cycling is highly recommended, as the cycle paths are very well developed and the surroundings are beautiful. Laboe, for example, is a great place for a day trip. The nature playground near Edeca is wonderful for children. The bakery at Edeca has a fantastic selection of cakes, as well as bread and rolls.

The apartment's location is fantastic, with a great view of the water and the beach quite close. However, the surrounding area isn't suitable for shopping; apart from a small bakery with a general store, there's nothing within walking distance. Laboe is easily accessible by car and is a wonderful place that's definitely worth a visit.

Good hotel with pool (~23C) and hammam bathroom. View from 2nd floor was nice and I recommend sea view room for sunset. Otherwise you will look at parking. Area around hotel is nice and you can rent bicycles or charge your EV car with many charger in the parking. Sauna was also nice.

The apartment was super cute and cozy. You will find everything you need/want for your stay, I mean everything. It was extremely close to the Marina dock, and there you will find some restaurants and local bistros as well.
