Absolutely charming and at the same time elegant! Everything is up-to-date in this lovely historic building. Bed and shower were perfect. I loved the street view and there was very little traffic to begin with, but silent sealed windows prevented any noises when closed (and so beautiful to look out when open!). The people were lovely. Really enjoyed my stay.

The hotel is clean and modern with lovely touches like fresh roses in the bedroom and bath room. Free water, beer, coke and Prosecco are provided in the room. The couple running the hotel provide an excellent service giving recommendations on where to visit, where to eat and they will make a reservation for you too. They were so friendly and kind. The hotel is very close to all the sights. We would definitely stay here again.

Hotel Residence is a charming hotel, centrally located (10 mins on foot from the train station). I arrived very late and was greeted by kind and helpful personel. The room was cozy and clean, with a very comfortable bed. The breakfast was great, with many different buffet options. I would be happy to stay here again!

Extremely friendly and helpful staff at both the reception and the kitchen. Late check-in was self check-in, efficient and smooth! On-site free parking available. Outstanding breakfast buffet, healthy, diverse and organic produce. Beautiful garden to relax with a beer and access to the Main river promenade. Within walking distance to restaurants, beer gardens, ice cream shops, playgrounds, and the castle and beautiful castle gardens and grounds - what a quaint town! Hotel has a great library, too, cultural events and book readings. They emphasize sustainability a lot. Rooms were functional and simple. Quiet location/rear facing window for a good nights' sleep. Would return and recommend without hesitation!

The room was large and airy, but not what was written in the...

The room was large and airy, but not what was written in the advertisement. It is a bedroom with separate toilet in the hall. There is a shared kitchen 2 floors below the bedroom, but the refrigerator was not working. There is nothing to do in Waldrunn, but we found a nice little biergarten for dinner in another village. The owners were not helpful in telling us what to do or where to go.
