This is a really cleverly designed, modern hotel. It’s unusual design and outside space is really nice too. The rooms are large and airy and bright and the shower/ wet room is very large too We only stayed for one night but we were warmly welcomed and staff were very friendly. We ate from the menu that is like flatbread pizzas and they were delicious and surprisingly filling too. Food and drinks served to us outside to enjoy the summer sunshine. We did not have breakfast but it looked good as we checked out.

I was greeted by Bernadette, the owner, who was the perfect host. Helpful, kind, warm and welcoming. The hotel was in a perfect position for me. Smart, secure storage for my motorcycle, delicious food and lovely staff with a real friendly family atmosphere.

A lovely little town, very clean.

A lovely little town, very clean. I appreciate the traffic-calmed side streets with their 20 km/h zones. All essential shopping is available. Excellent restaurants can be reached by car in about 10 minutes just outside the town. There are also good bus connections to Münster, etc. The Münsterland region is ideal for cyclists. Well worth a visit. It was new territory for me.

A fantastic holiday region with many options for leisure...

A fantastic holiday region with many options for leisure activities in Sendenhorst and the surrounding area. It's an ideal starting point for cycling tours on beautiful cycle paths. The city of Münster, about 20 km away, is a dream with its many cafes and beer gardens in the city center.

I was there in winter and worked.

I was there in winter and worked. So I can't say much about hiking/cycling tours. The only thing I can confirm is that Sendenhorst is a very cozy place with very friendly inhabitants and that its location is quite central (Munster, Essen).

It's a wonderfully peaceful setting, the room was spacious, and the beds were comfortable. The staff is extremely friendly and helpful, and COVID-19 guidelines are strictly followed, which gives a sense of security. The hotel kitchen is excellent, as is the breakfast, with fresh fruit.

Ample, typical German breakfast, good coffee, clean dining room. Staff were very friendly, spoke English, and provided info about a local festival that was happening in town during my stay. Easy to get to from the Bahnhof in Münster ( 30 min bus trip). Good alternative to rather exhorbitant hotel rates in Münster.
