As non German speaking guests with very little knowledge of the region we were unsure how our stay would go but we had a great time meeting interesting people and learning a little about the area and the wine Our room was large and comfortable, quiet and airy, and spotlessly clean. We had a well equipped separate kitchen area with a dining room table in it, as well as a light bathroom with a shower There is a supermarket and bakery close by so we could prepare a meal for the evenings without difficulty too. The breakfast was simple and fresh and we enjoyed joining other guests at a long refectory dining room table. It was a bonus to be offered eggs in addition to a plate of fresh fruit and a platter of meats and cheeses with breads, yoghurt and coffee by the lovely team of people. who looked after us for the meal. The garden and outside areas are comfortable and guests are invited to use them which is lovely and Axel and Ute, together with their son, Heinrich, made us feel relaxed straight away. They are also totally professional and obviously run a "good ship" both in the winery and in the accommodation.

This is my second time at the hotel and I even recommended it to a bunch of friends. The hotel is extremely clean, the rooms are big and comfortable (I prefer soft beds and the mattress is hard but that's ok), the breakfast offers plenty of options and I always dine at the hotel restaurant because it's very good too! Perfect for an overnight stop during a long drive. It has everything you need. Good TV and WiFi, comfortable bed. Everything was clean. It was surprisingly quiet during my stay. Unlocking the door worked perfectly. Conveniently located just off the A61. Coffee and snacks available at nearby gas station.

Great breakfast. The staff were super accommodating and even offered gluten free bread, and asked if we wanted fresh fried eggs. The location is peaceful and near to a bus stop, with lots of nice walking trails in the vineyards around.

Staff was very accomodating, as we booked last-minute and they checked us in late in the evening. While the app made us book the 2-room suite for 2 adults and a baby since we wouldn't fit on a normal room, the staff was apologetic and they offered courtesy breakfast and a wine. The hotel is in a very cozy old house and they offer great dining and have their own winery which you can visit.
