The hotel is really simple but great. The new owner is a very friendly guy with a warm hospitality. Many costly hotels are not as good as this one. The location is slightly off the city centre noise (Take bus 15, 25, 35, 55 etc to Konigsbergerstrasse) and is situated within 30 seconds from the bus stop and a big REWE supermarket. At ground floor he has a lobby where you can relax or work. I could finish a lot of work there with offered unlimited free tea and coffee. Room is very good with all basic amenities including tv, heating, wardrobe, a small work desk. The toilet and bathroom are also very clean. If next time in Aachen, I shall first search a room in this hotel.

This is a gem of a place- an old-school guesthouse with plenty of character and charm. All staff were very friendly and helpful to every request I had. Facilities include bar with beergarden, pool and sauna and restaurant. Little touches made this place feel very homely even though I was only here for the one night. I was particularly impressed by the schnapps table and spirits trolley in the restaurant 😀

This is a wonderful apartment in a quiet location. We stayed for 6 days over Christmas and very much enjoyed our time there. The host was very welcoming and the apartment was beautifully furnished with high quality modern fittings. The owner clearly has a good eye for interior design. It was spotlessly clean and every possible need was catered for. There were also a lot of really nice extra touches like travel packs, sewing kits, coffee, biscuits etc. Clearly a lot of thought was given to what a traveller might need. The coffee machine, fridge, dishwasher and microwave were all a godsend. There was a wonderful bathroom, shower, wet room area with lots of space which was a real luxury. The beds were very comfortable and we slept well throughout our stay. It is a very good location for visiting neighbouring towns and cities, such as Monschau and Aachen. There was a parking space provided in front of the apartment. Overall a very enjoyable stay and we would highly recommend.
