We stayed only for like 24 hours. Wish it hadn't been Sunday as the shops were closed and there were some really nice ones. We visited the site of the 1972 Olympics, the park, the city center. The BMW museum was cool.

First 1967. The good days of the Octoberfest.
This trip of six days spoilt by my favourite Augustiner beer hall in the
Neuhauser Str. (Marienplatz).
They served up 2nd rate Scweinershnitzel.
The Augustiner food has always been wonderful.
I've eaten at Augustiner N.S,E,W.
Get a good City Map Munich. Has everything you need.
Recommended. Deutsches Museum. The Residence.
Nymphenburg Palace & Park. The Englischer Garten.
A shoppers mecca along Neuhauser Str.

I met some local friends here and we went to Zugspitze as...
I met some local friends here and we went to Zugspitze as well as Oktoberfest. Both were a BLAST. One can spend a lot of time here and have plenty to see and do. I wanted to spend more time in France as well as Poland so that is why I did not stay longer in Munich. But next time I will!

Munchen is a nice city and the public transport system is...
Munchen is a nice city and the public transport system is really for everyone. Shopping is perhaps not best downtown but Munchen has some really good shopping centers that one can only recommend for shopping.

I found Munich interesting.
I found Munich interesting. The Youth Hostel was at a walking distance from the Cathedral, Old Town and other areas. Eating places were also available along the way. The Metro station too was at a walking distance.

Go on the Bus tour - it gives direction on places to go on foot.
Take cash, lots of places only took cash which took us off guard as its all cards these days.

Stunning & very aesthetic hotel! Wow! The room was modern and had all the necessities (including a washer/DRYER). The beds were extremely comfy and they supplied a great amount of pillows.
Hotel offered other things we didn't end up using (heated pool, sauna, restaurant), wish we stayed in Munich longer so we could explore it more.
Good location to public transport, less than 5min walk to Aidenbachstrabe station to take you into the city centre.

Great location, very close to the Hauptbahnhof central station and local Trams.
We found the staff very friendly, and approachable. We enjoyed a couple of cocktails in the hotel bar (Fantastic).
Our room was a city view, lovely room with all amenities we required.
We'd highly recommend the Boutique Hotel Atrium Munich for anyone looking for a city centre location.

Really nice hotel. Little bit far from city centre (you have to use bus and S-bahn, but that’s was fine). It was perfectly clean and comfortable. There was 24h bar, people on reception was friendly and smiling. Nice choice of food for breakfast. When I will be in Munich again, I would stay there again. Many thanks!

The hotel is clean and the staff is really friendly, they helped me with everything I asked them. The location is good, it's on the outskirts of Munich but very close to the metro station which takes you to city centre. They have really nice private parking for guests.

Fantastic hotel, great location. Friendly staff and big room. We loved the rooftop to wind down in the evening. 15 eu to park up. 10 mins walk to city centre. Munich is a beautiful place
