The breakfast was really good - it contained everything ein gutes deutsches Frühstück should, and in addition, the food was noticeably bio-sourced and excellently fresh. The location of Alte Post is a bit surprising : one might think from the pictures that it was in the middle of the countryside, but in reality it is in town, near a big shopping complex (Media Markt), and at the side of a busy road. However, there is a large garden and my room overlooked this and was beautifully quiet. The staff were very friendly and helpful, and everyone liked my dog (who was allowed into the restaurant and breakfast room). Supper was superb - beautifully presented, made with interesting ingredients and very, very tasty. BRAVO!

All perfect. Lovely people, Excellent room - clean, quiet and comfortable. Good breakfast and really excellent evening Dinner. Perfect location close to the A5 Autobahn for a stopover before the prices double down the road in Switzerland.

The location is superb for walking with dogs as the place is surrounded by vineyards. It is quiet and clean, with individual parking place. The apartment has anything for self-catering stay, including washing machine. Andrea is a wonderful host. Short distance from Black forest, Strasburg and Colmar. We had a very pleasant and relaxing stay. Thank you!

    Nice little town. Easy access from motorway.

    Nice little town. Easy access from motorway. Good selection of places to eat and drink,plus supermarkets for picnic things. Lots of other cute historic villages and towns in the area to explore too. Plenty of lovely architecture, wineries, eateries... Biking and hiking very popular around here. Staying in our hotel meant we got a free travel pass for the area. All buses,trains,trams etc. Unthinkable in the UK. If you're a Christian, or interested in exploring the Christian faith, I recommend Seinhaus church. Lively contemporary worship and preaching style, along with a translation service if you don't speak German. Enjoy Müllheim (don't confuse it with the single L version that is in a completely different part of Germany...!). We hope to come back.

    What to review. We stayed in the hotel and had dinner in the restaurant. The restaurant is of high quality. The food is all fresh and well cooked, service friendly and prices are moderate for the offered quality. The menu is small, but probably given the fresh cooking a good choice. I might return for the food, not for the hotel room itself.

    An excellent mid price hotel in Mullheim we always stay here en route to Italy and home again. The breakfast is excellent and they now have a swimming pool which is great for a cool dip in the summer months.
