I would recommend it to anyone who likes to have very good night rest in comfortable bed. Always clean, positive vibes and 5 free cold drinks. Very friendly both receptionists and housekeeping! I don’t go to any other hotel if I’m on the south of Germany anymore. So I’ll be back

This is a very pleasant accommodation just across the road from the Plattling railway station, so very convenient for rail travel in South Eastern Bavaria. The staff are extremely helpful and welcoming. The single room is not very big, but it is spotlessly clean and comfortable. The breakfast buffet is basic but fine and the sunny back garden is a plus.

Traveling by car with my dog, I stayed 2 nights in Metten.

Traveling by car with my dog, I stayed 2 nights in Metten. This gave me time for a tour of the famous baroque Benedictine Library. Afterwards, I had time to visit the beach bar on the river Danube in Deggendorf and walk through the old city center there. Found and highly recommend Bachmueller Bakery for wonderful breakfast options as well as soups, goulash, pasta dishes. There are many nice eateries of all sorts in the center pedestrian zone of Deggendorf. Metten has Italian, Greek, German, and its unique Brazilian BBQ restaurant. Lovely corner of the world for a 2-night stay.

24/7 check-in was handy since it was a stopping place on a longer road. We didn’t take the breakfast as we wanted to sleep little longer, but there was a nice bakery just around the block with tables in and out. Pretty view from the windows. Room was nice and clean, nice alternative for big brand hotels!

Lovely hotel for our journey, the rooms were clean and spacious. We were lucky to have dinner outside under the trees, it is better to sit outside in summer. Parking can be a challenge sometimes due to the restaurant, but by the end of the evening there is always space in front of the hotel.

Location, as we were looking for a hotel close to highway. They have a nice restaurant some days of the week, so that was a plus for our one night stay on our way home. Bed was confortable, shower was a bit small but good. All was clean.
