    We only stayed overnight our last night in Europe.

    We only stayed overnight our last night in Europe. Visited Meersburg Castle, the Stilthouse Museum, and other places in the area. We bought our own food mostly due to dietary restrictions, but enjoyed apfel strudel with whipped cream and gelato near the ferry dock.

    Whilst this corner of Germany might not be an obvious holiday destination for the family (family of 4; 2 teens), it proved a great base for a “lakes, mountains and cities” across Germany, Switzerland and Austria. Markdorf is a great little town, with everything you need - supermarket, couple of good restaurants and a decent coffee shop. The property itself is really well-equipped and spacious - both teens happy with separate rooms and king-size beds.

    Beautiful property, 6 minutes walk from markdorf centre. Stunning views. Clean and spacious, big bedrooms with comfortable beds, beautiful living room with balcony, bathroom with powerful shower and hot water, and a very nice kitchen with everything you need, even a perfect coffee machine! The Landlord is a very nice lady who was so helpful and made sure our stay was perfect. Well definitely come back here. Thank you so much.

    Hotel was nice and clean. Breakfast was aaaamazing. I love that they serve fruits because thats all my youngest eats in the morning. They had a nice selection and my latte was yummy. I do not like regular coffee so this was a treat. Beds were comfortable. Everything was super nice. Staff were extremely friendly.

    This hotel was convenient for a visit to Friedrichshafen to attend the Ham Radio event and also to visit the Zeppelin museum. The food and wine were excellent (especially the local Grauburgunder) and the room was comfortable.
