Everything! The hotel is amazingly beautiful in the old germany style and the employees were super kind and warm. The breakfast was GREAT! They separate a table for you and bring you coffee and milk as you wish. The breakfast things are fresh and very tasty, we loved it.

Overall quite OK. Breakfast was excellent on Sunday, simpler on Monday. Room was a good size and had the promised view over the Mosel river as well as 2 chairs and small table on the small balcony. (no privacy, neighbour easily looks in) However, it was over the road. So quite noisy when traffic passed, day and night.

The rooms were clean and comfortable. There was a kettle provided that is unusual in German accommodation, also the breakfast was delicious. If you are riding along the Moselle there is a bus you can catch up the hill to the accommodation that will take your bike along. It stops right in front of the hotel. It was so appreciated. It had a gorgeous outlook and the owner was very friendly, helpful and welcoming. The ride back down to the river was very scenic.

This hotel is in a beautiful little town. Our room had a balcony and had lovely views over the garden . We had the buffet meal in the dining room and the head waiter was so helpful re the food options and wine . His English was excellent , sadly our German is shocking. Our 2 dogs were allowed in the dining room with us at meal times . Will definitely return .

Lof is a very nice town but does not have many tourist options. There is a very nice grocery store just over the bridge where we were able to get supplies. This would be a perfect stop to stock up an RV for an extended trip down the Mosel.

A great relaxing location, we will revisit Löf as there were so many more things to see. Directly on the Mosel River with many boat trips offered at differing dates and times to fit all schedules. Boat tours from 1 and a half hours to full day trips available.

Löf is a small town and really nothing much to do. But its located together with Alken and Brodenbach, which are centrally located from some castles and ruins in the hills around. Good base for hiking, biking or simply walking

Löf is a quiet little village situated directly on the Moselle River. It's an ideal starting point for hikes in the surrounding area or for excursions to nearby Cochem or Koblenz. The beautiful Thurant Castle is within walking distance and definitely worth a visit.

We were in Löf over Valentine's Day (February 14th), it's a shame that most restaurants and cafes are closed until mid-March. Otherwise, Löf and the surrounding area are certainly recommendable for a short break.

Löf itself isn't particularly exciting, but there's plenty to do in the surrounding area: Cochem, Traben-Trarbach, and Bernkastle-Keus on the Moselle are all worth a visit. Alken is also charming, and Burg Elz is definitely worth a visit. On the other side of the hills, you'll find towns like Boppard am Rhein and Sankt Goar, also well worth a visit.

This is a modestly priced traditional German family run hotel, very clean if a little dated. It's an excellent location if cycling the Mosel. The hotel has a good restaurant and the breakfast was very good. The hotel kindly provided secure overnight bike storage.
