This was exceptional, far exceeding our expectations. We needed somewhere to break a journey and couldn't believe how lucky we were to find this hotel. Lovely country setting, amongst its own kitchen garden. The dinner was excellent, in both the food and the ambience. There were only a very few guests but there was still an excellent buffet breakfast. We felt like house guests rather than customers. Finally, it was exceptional value - worth much more than we paid.

Perfect location for a stop along the way, close by the motorway. Very useful automatic machine for a late checkin. The room was big and the temperature was perfect. There is a supermarket next door and the possibility of having a good breakfast.
