Felt like sleeping in a castle. Breakfast buffet was excellent. Felt like royality. Nice place to walk around(inside and ouside the hotel) Everybody was super nice. which is kinda rare to see... Anything not mentioned as a downside is a plus!

My room was just perfect. The little window corner with a view to the street where you could sit and read/work was so cozy, you could hear the water flow from the window and the bathroom was nice and modern. The staff were very friendly and I could check in early for free with my dog which I really appreciated after a very long trip. Plenty of space for parking both outside and inside the hotel. Everything was perfect.

The location was excellent, close to shops and restaurants. The room was spacious with plenty of storage. The sofa was comfortable and gave us somewhere to sit other than on the bed. Breakfast each morning was fresh and plentiful. The staff were friendly and accommodating of all our needs. Nothing was too much trouble. The vending machine was great for those little snacks and drinks.

The sceneries are beautiful, the parks are nice to walk in, run, walk your dog, is just beautiful. The peaceful while not being far from Frankfurt is heavenly. There is a zoo as well nearby which we didn’t manage to visit due to time. The town is pretty like and we also got lost in translation with the directions to get to the castle. However we did manage to walk around the city which was pleasant

Beautiful old town, full of interesting architecture - mostly from the middle ages. Great castle. Lovely bars, restaurants, shops. Fabulous views of the countryside in the direction of Frankfurt. Easy access to all the amazing sights of the Taunus hills, but also easy to get to Frankfurt, Wiesbaden, Mainz as well as some lovely smaller towns like Bad Homburg . The town of Kronberg is on a hillside and is full of steep steps and terraces, very fascinating, but you need to be reasonably fit to be able to get around and see all the sights

Our first night of a 21day trip through Germany & Poland.

Our first night of a 21day trip through Germany & Poland. We ate on their back veranda outside. Gorgeous views, wonderful staff and good food. The weather was balmy. The room was very comfortable. The hotel had a lot of history and understandable since it was Princess Viktoria's home (first daughter of Queen Victoria.) The grounds were part of a forest environment. All the reasons above created a most wonderful night to remember.

Kronberg im Taunus is a gem in the Frankfurt area. We decided to stay there rather than in Frankfurt itself. It was a very smart decision! Kronberg is beautiful, and there is much to see. The view of Frankfurt from the Kronberg castle is phenomenal. The restaurants were wonderful: excellent food and attentive service everywhere. It is a very human scale (as opposed to Frankfurt am Mainhattan), and it was much more relaxing than a few days in Frankfurt would have been. It is only 20 minutes from downtown Frankfurt (by commuter train, S-Bahn). Is there any down side? The town center is very much up hill from the train station, and that might be daunting for the mobility impaired; time for a taxi!

It is a very nice hotel and a unique experience compared with other conventional hotels. The rooms are spacious, cleaned and well maintained. Bathroom is also spacious and very clean. Hotel has a real gem in the lobby a sitting space to relax in font of big open fireplace where you can enjoy a drink and a pleasant conversation. All in all a very nice experience and we hope we will be back to relax and enjoy this place.

Loved everything especially the old world charm, beautiful decor in the room and the luxurious bathroom. Breakfast in bed was wonderful. Being able to park on the grounds right in front of the hotel was so convenient. Didn't care too much for the lady that checked us out the next morning.

I have stayed here once before and was determined to book again so my wife and close friends could experience this amazing hotel. I'm not a history nut but the castle is full of amazing and interesting artefacts. It's a like staying in a Palace. I cannot recommend highly enough. Staff were fab and friendly. Food and drink excellent. Rooms very comfy and traditional. This is a real GEM of a hotel. Would not hesitate to book again!

Very modern and nice hotel but it feels that the walls are made of paper, you can hear everything from next door or upstairs. Next to Hotel is a concert hall and huge amount of people came back to hotel around 00:00 (noisy crowd), so it wasn't the best option for business traveler if you need to sleep.
