Klotten is a great place to stay and the apartment was nicely located with easy free parking on the street outside. Both apartments were spacious and clean. The location is quiet and pleasant in a wooded, hilly area with a nice walk along a stream down into the village. Klotten is a typical wine village although less touristy than some. It is very close to Cochem and also has a train station on the beautiful railway line between Trier and Koblenz. One might think the location is a drawback compared to Cochem or Bernkastel-Kues, but Klotten is a quaint town to stay in. The train (once per hour) quickly and affordably takes you to other places of interest along the Mosel.
