This time it was just a family celebration, and I was struck...

This time it was just a family celebration, and I was struck again by what a pleasantly peaceful setting it is, with lots of woods. Three years ago, I went for a run in the woods near Kirch Jesar; it was absolutely beautiful, past an old watermill. Anyone who loves nature and horses will feel right at home here.

The Texas MV holiday resort is a very beautiful and large complex with plenty of activities. Since we were there in March, it wasn't as busy as it will be in the summer months. However, the presence of a swimming pool and sauna makes it a great choice for this time of year. It's certainly ideal for families with children.

The staff was really nice. Really nice pool area. Really nice place with beautiful nature. The cleaning could be better and a coat of paint would go a long way. I could definitely come back.
